- what were your concrete goals for the week?
- what goals were you able to accomplish?
- Integrating rhythmic input
- Ready-up system + game state
- Enemy spawning
- Attack combo system
- Engine refactor
- Input system refactor
- Camera system refactor
- if the week went differently than you had planned, what were the reasons? note that this happens regularly…I would prefer you to be aggressive in what you want to try accomplish rather than limit yourself to goals you know you’ll easily achieve. so answering this question is more of a reflection on the development process and the surprises you encounter, it’s not at all an evaluation.
- I got a lot more work done than I anticipated!
- I found myself doing a lot of miscellaneous tasks because most of the gameplay elements were blocked by engine refactors that other people were doing. I was still able to stay productive.
- what are your specific goals for the next week?
- Add logic for attacking
- Make networked animations easier, maybe on server-side and replicate on clients
- what did you learn this week, if anything (and did you expect to learn it?)
- Maybe we should be more specific with our MVP goals. It’s hard to know what we need to focus on if we have only broader, more general goals.
- what is your individual morale (which might be different from the overall group morale)?
- Little disappointed we missed the milestone, but I felt productive. Overall, quite satisfied.
