- what were your concrete goals for the week?
- what goals were you able to accomplish?
- I didn't contribute a lot for this week because of some personal issues. I integrated the animation with the latest branch so now it can switch from different clips. I made the metronome for the HUD. It is just two squares, a huge and a tiny one. The huge square will scale smaller based on the beat & bpm until it overlaps with the tiny one. I also talked to Ryan about the issues of exporting textures from blender.
- if the week went differently than you had planned, what were the reasons? note that this happens regularly…I would prefer you to be aggressive in what you want to try to accomplish rather than limit yourself to goals you know you’ll easily achieve. so answering this question is more of a reflection on the development process and the surprises you encounter, it’s not at all an evaluation.
- I’m busy with my other stuffs specifically related to my graduation. I also have problems projecting all the HUDs to stay in front of the camera but I think this can be solved once we got the camera.
- what are your specific goals for the next week?
- Finished up the HUD and help setting up the boss.
- what did you learn this week, if anything (and did you expect to learn it?)
- OpenGL & texture. The textures got blended together when I tried to load the texture of the health bar with the animated character with different shaders. This happens when multiple textures are trying to use the same id. I also have a better understanding of our game engine.
- what is your individual morale (which might be different from the
overall group morale)?
